Opa!

Yesterday afternoon we headed out to the westside to take in the official IFOCE Gyro Eating competition at the Festival of Greece. Pat "Deep Dish" Bertoletti had won last year and was poised to take the prize again this year. We got gyros (just one each) and a plate of loukoumades to eat before the big show. Just as they began to announce the competitors, the skies opened up and it was a deluge of rain. It was tough to see the competition from our space under the roof, but we toughed it out. Finley was quite a trooper.

Bertolleti won again, eating 21 gyros in 10 minutes...think you can beat it? Anyone can enter, Clifton wants to next year.
