Independence Pass
We headed up to Independence Pass today, exactly one year after we did last year. Finley was excited to see the backcountry skiers, there were lots of people out enjoying the holiday. We attempted to sled, but we weren't successful. We headed back to town and enjoyed a picnic lunch right on the river.

Bitty Baby Recital
Finley had her dance recital on Sunday, more to come on that, but all day we have been playing Bitty Baby Dance Recital. We had a dress rehearsal this morning and a full scale recital after dinner. Each doll had a tap dance, then a ballet dance and the finale was a duet to Let It Go. All the stuffed animals had a great view from the couch seating area, the stage was her tent. I was in charge of music and lights. At the end of the show, each of the dolls got a trophy. And Finley performed a dance to Tiger in a Tutu.

WDW: Day Eight
It was pouring when we woke up this morning, so we swapped out our Fastpasses, hung around the hotel a bit, grabbed lunch at Friendly's (Finley thinks it is the best restaurant ever!) and then headed to the Magic Kingdom. Finley and I rode Splash Mountain, then we all rode Big Thunder Mountain RR. We saw the Evil Stepmother on the way to watch the Dreams Come True show at the castle, she was really fun. After the show, we checked in for our parade Fastpasses and the cast member stopped to ask if Finley was a princess, she replied "yes!" and the cast member pulled out a princess autograph book and asked for Finley to sign it. It was so sweet, Finley was beaming. We had an amazing spot for the parade, then we boarded the monorail for Epcot. We rode Journey to Imagination, completed another Muppets mission and saw lots of neat flower displays. We also got one more ride on Test Track. We picked up a Mickey costume for Duffy, then headed back to the hotel. It is an early morning for our Star Wars breakfast tomorrow.

WDW: Day Seven
What a day today was! We arrived at the Magic Kingdom at rope drop, but there was no train show this morning due to filming of some sort. We were able to ride Big Thunder Mountain RR, Pirates and the Jungle Cruise. Then we headed to Fantasyland for Small World, then onto Tomorrowland to ride Space Mountain on our fastpass and meet Pluto. Things were going swimmingly. Then the skies opened up. And it rained for the rest of the day. We grabbed lunch, then caught the Country Bears and Tiki Birds shows. There were no signs of it letting up and an added bonus was that the fastpass system was totally down. We received a paper fastpass, used it for Space Mountain (just Finley and I, Clifton had enough of the jerkiness,) rode Stitch's Great Escape and watched the Monsters Inc Laugh Floor. Then we rode Teacups, Winnie the Pooh, Splash (in the rain,) Small World, Peter Pan and Buzz. We had planned to take a hotel break in the afternoon, but decided to stay out because the weather made for small lines. It was then time for our dinner with Winnie the Pooh and his friends. Finley had an absolute ball, especially interacting with Tiger. She was non stop smiles. Not many pictures today because I didn't want to pull my camera out in the rain, but we rode a lot of rides and had a great time.

WDW: Day Six
We started out the day at Epcot, with Mission Space and Test Track a couple times. Then it was on to Spaceship Earth, Donald's boat ride in Mexico and the Maelstrom, meeting Duffy and Donald along the way. Finley participated in a Muppets activity where she collected stickers in different countries, in the end she got to meet Constantine. We had a delicious pizza lunch at Via Napoli, then it was on to a boat ride to Hollywood Studios to get a 25th anniversary button and cupcake. We returned to the hotel for a bit to rest, then it was back to Hollywood Studios for the 25th anniversary motorcade, dance party and fireworks. Finley was so excited to meet Lilo for the first time ever at the party. We also got a ride on Tower of Terror and Star Tours in the mix. Finley fell asleep on the bus ride home, Clifton and I were both standing. She flopped right over onto a friendly guy who happened to be a monorail driver, luckily he didn't mind.
