Disneyland, Day Two

After a big breakfast, we headed out to Disneyland. We got there about 15 minutes after it opened, not too bad considering how late we were out the night before. It was pouring rain when we woke up, but it had stopped by the time we made it to the park, thank goodness! Finley's choice for first ride was Space Mountain, she even convinced Grammy to ride it. After we rode Space Mountain, we headed to Toon Town where Finley met Daisy, rode Gadget's Go Coaster, played all in the town and rode Roger Rabbit twice. We headed back to Space Mountain again with our fastpasses, this time without Grammy. Then it was over to Pirates and Splash Mountain (I sat out that one and snapped a pic of Finley and Grammy!) Finley selected a seagull from Finding Nemo at the Emporium and then we headed over to California Adventure for Soarin' and Monster Inc. Finley had Randall with her, so she was really excited to take him on the ride. Finley is finally tall enough for Goofy's Sky School, so we rode that a couple of times along with The Little Mermaid a few times back to back because it had begun to rain. We did a little shopping in the rain and after it stopped we rode all the ride in Bugs Land. We walked through Cars Land, grabbed dinner and rode on Mater's Junkyard Jamboree before heading back for the night. Hopefully we won't have any rain for tomorrow!

Girls' Disneyland Trip, Night One

We arrived in Anaheim tonight for our girls' trip to Disneyland.  Tonight was the only night fireworks and Fantasmic were showing for our whole trip, so that was a priority to see.  After some ticket troubles with our Premier Passports, we made it to Fantasmic just as it was starting.  I put Finley up on my shoulders so she could see the show, she knew everything that was going to happen.  She was most excited to see Mickey and the Tick Tock Croc.  After the show, we headed over to the castle for about five minutes worth of  fireworks.  It had started to mist a bit, so they cancelled the show.  We rode Star Tours, Buzz Lightyear and I had our tickets fixed so we could have no problems entering the parks tomorrow.  While I did that, Grammy and Finley got to visit Pluto.  I was surprised to see characters out so late.  Finley had a very late day (nearly 2 am her time) and we are sleeping in tomorrow.
