Finley has discovered the huge windows in Katie & Clifton's room. She has spent much time gazing out the window...queen of all she views.

Auntie Kristina came over to babysit today while I went to my lunch at the Westview School with my penpals. They had lunch together and did a whole lot of playing. I came home to find them snuggled up watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. I was shocked! Finley is not a cuddly baby, she hates it. Kristina said they had been sitting together for about a half hour...I am jealous! I wish I could get some Finley snuggles. We will have to have Auntie Kristina over more often in order to have Finley get more accustomed to snuggling. Big thanks to Auntie Kristina for spending time with Finley today, it was a great help to me!

My first three days as a stay at home mom have been pretty fantastic. Finley is generally a joy to be around and I am having so much fun with her. She is currently obsessed with books (yay!) and her coats. I don't understand the coat obsession, but it is freaking adorable. If she sees one of her coats lying around, she wants it. We dressed one of her bears in her fleece jacket and she loves it. Such a silly bug.
It has gotten cold again in Houston, I miss the 70 degree weather, the near-freezing temperatures just aren't cutting it. Sadly, it means no outdoor activities for Finley. We did venture out to Kroger today to take advantage of the awesome sales going on right now. We were able to save $76, bringing our bill to $58. We got so much stuff. Unfortunately, Finley decided it would be great fun to take all the batteries off the display while we were at the check out. She got them everywhere! All in our cart, all over the floor. Finley went grocery shopping with G-Ma on Friday, she was good for her, thank goodness!
