Aunt Rose, Uncle Ferrell, Faith, Zac and Josh are up in Aspen for Spring Break. We had such a fun day on the slopes! It was a crazy morning, but once everyone got settled in, it turned out we have some fantastic skiers. I am excited to ski tomorrow.
Finley had so much fun at the Rodeo. Her favorite activity was playing Fun at the Farm, which is the same every year, I will be sad when she finally outgrows it. Shockingly, she didn't ask to ride a single carnival ride. We watched the Pig Races and Mutton Bustin, but not a single ride was ridden. She was selected to wave a checkered flag during the pig racing and they even let her keep the flag. She loved the Calf Scramble the best during the actual rodeo events. She also enjoyed both an ice cream sandwich AND a push-up, she had a nice sugar high for the whole train ride home.
Finley still loves visiting the zoo. Our last visit we were lucky to be there while the giraffe feeding area was open. They even gave Finley three extra leaves to feed the giraffes, she was so excited.
Finley was so excited for Rodeo Festival this year. She was sad that her boots no longer fit, but she didn't let that dampen her spirits. It was rainy and cold, but the kids still had an amazing time. Finley's class rotated from station to station, visiting the petting zoo, working on coloring a new bandana, pony races, a farm themed bouncy slide and even a pony ride. She proclaimed the slide to be her most favorite activity. She was also quite excited to score an extra juice box during snack time, sometimes it is the little things.
