Finley had an absolute blast running through Gaudi's masterpiece, Parc Guell. She was mainly pretending she was a bear, but she was playing all sorts of imagination games while we were in the park. She was so excited to go inside the "candy houses" and selected a Gaudi memory game from the gift shop. We were shocked that they are now charging admission to the park and only allowing a set number of people in at a time. I have a feeling it will be crazy in the summer.
like Christmas! Finley wanted to put up her tree this morning, she did it completely by herself. I think she did an amazing job.
Barcelona day six pictures are coming, we had a very packed day and I have a ton of pictures to sort through. Finley was up at 6 am this morning after getting home at 1 am, the joy of jet lag.
We headed out to Monserrat today, it is reasonably easy to get to and so beautiful. Only two trains, a cable car and a funicular. It was sunny and cooler today, so we dressed warm. Finley was most excited for the funicular, I guess she is going to be super spoiled by cable car rides for skiing in Aspen. It was quite a long day and we saw some amazing scenery. The weather on the back side of the mountain looked like rain, but it held off and it was sunny by the time we were leaving. Finley didn't want to leave, she kept asking if there was more we could do. The line to see the Virgin of Monserrat was much shorter than last time we were here, so we took Finley up to see it. People were crying, I guess it must really be moving if you are Catholic. The church itself is quite pretty, but the surrounding landscape is what really sets it apart.
