Today was a big sleeping in day since Finley didn't get to bed until midnight last night. After we were all up and had breakfast, we headed to Epcot to ride the Maelstrom and the boat ride in Mexico. Of course we also fast passed Test Track and rode Spaceship Earth again. The allow the fast passes to design their own car now, but you have to do so in groups of two or three, so of course Finley makes all the decisions in our group. Hence our tiny purple car covered in flowers. At least we won in the power portion of the simulation. We also upgraded our passes to RFID while we were in Epcot, lets hope that doesn't mess with the Disneyland portion for our trip in May.
After Epcot we headed to Animal Kingdom to catch the Jammin Jungle parade we had missed earlier in the week. We got a great spot in the shade right along the parade route. Finley got to meet every walking character in the parade, including Pluto who spent a ton of time with Finley and her new Pluto animal. The new Pluto animal completes her Mickey and Friends collection: Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy (from France!) and Pluto. Each came from a different trip and she loves them dearly. If you notice in the pictures, she always selects one friend to accompany her to the parks each day. This trip she also brought Figaro (Minnie's cat) and Sorcerer Mickey (from our last trip.)
After the parade it was straight to the Magic Kingdom. Finley met Mickey Mouse and then we all watched the Move It Shake It parade. We then boarded the train for Frontierland with the intention of riding Big Thunder Mountain. Turns out it was down due to technical difficulties, but my phone had told me all the fast passes for Splash Mountain were gone. My phone was wrong and we grabbed two passes (I don't think I will ever get Clifton on it again, we got soaked earlier in the week) then watched the Tiki Birds show while we waited. After Splash (Finley's new favorite ride, note to Grammy: you are riding this with her 100 times in Disneyland and I will watch our stuff!) we took the train back around to the front entrance since it had been a long day (3 parks!) and the weather was looking a bit nasty. The monorail had some issues and we ended up stopped for a long time while the pulled the train in front of us out of service and prepared our train to be pulled from service. As soon as we finally got to our car it started pouring. We have had the worst parking luck this trip and have been the furthest car down the row nearly every time we park. Makes the resorts on the monorail look all the better.
