 Grammy and Granddad have been here in Houston for 2 weeks.  Even though the weather has been dreary, the days have been bright with fun and frolic!
 Between house hunting and school, we have been able to squeeze in some little adventures.

 Kate's party was held at the "Little Gym."  What a great way to end the weekend.  It was a running, jumping, skipping great time.  The smiles were wide and genuine.  Happy Birthday, Kate!

The Rodeo is in Houston this week, and the celebrations have begun!  Finley dressed for the occasion in her pink cowgirl boots and her cowgirl dress.  When she arrived at school, Grammy was astonished to discover ponies in the yard.  Finley just took it all in stride.  After an exciting western day at school, we enjoyed a not-so-western pizza and gelato dinner at Luigis.  So for all you cowhands out there, I highly recommend the scrumptious pizza at Luigis.   It's been a mostly dreary week here in Houston, but as we munched on our pizza, we were regaled by a sunset which painted the Houston skyline in a vibrant pink.  Unfortunately, the i-phone photo did not do it justice.  Yee-ha, what a way to end the week!

Grammy and Granddad are here in Houston, and Finley has accompanied them on some of their house hunting trips this week.   She has a few pointers and tips she would like to share to help anyone who may be looking for that perfect home.

Finley lives around the corner from the Houston Zoo, so on Monday we strolled there to enjoy a day fit for a queen.

Doesn't Finley look adorable with her new microwave in her kitchen?  It was her Valentine's Day gift from Grammy and Grandad.  Grandad made it for her, now she just needs a dishwasher and she has a kitchen ready for the 21st century.
