Zoo Boo

Finley had her first Trick or Treat (actually Trunk or Treat) at the Houston Zoo. She loved the candy, of course she cried when there wasn't anymore candy to enjoy. The giraffe costume was a hit. Clifton kept making all sorts of corny jokes about making sure she didn't wander off, or else the zookeepers would pen her up with all the other giraffes.

Forty-Nine Weeks

I had initially planned to stop taking this picture once she turned a year old. Now that there are only a few short weeks until that happens, I think I am going to extend that for awhile longer. Today we got the picture in only one shot! I don't think that has ever happened before.

Pointing and Enjoying a Cheerio Snack

When Finley points she says the same "word" every time. It sounds vaguely like "it's it". It is beyond cute and frustrating at the same time because I know she is trying to communicate with us and I have no clue what she is saying. We just tell her what she is pointing at and hope that is what she is asking.
