So, this is where they make all that goodness...

Grandad, Grammy and I took Finley to Brenham to tour the Blue Bell factory. She was great for the entire trip and she absolutely loved getting to taste the ice cream at the end of the tour. She liked it so much, that was all she ate for lunch. She tried Peaches and Cream, Vanilla, Key Lime Pie and Chocolate. She didn't have a favorite, she just loved them all!!!

Ouch!

Finley was sitting and I went to pick her up. Right at the same moment, she turned her head and my thumbnail cut her little nose. I feel just awful. She only cried for a few seconds, but I still feel terrible about it. Poor Finners!

Forty-One Weeks

Pump It Up

Finley had her first big girl birthday party today at Pump It Up. It was Sarah Kate's 5th birthday party and everyone had a great time. Even Uncle Jeff went down the slide.

Finley was overwhelmed at first, all the kids, music and lights were a lot for her. She did ride down a slide with Clifton, but I am not sure if she enjoyed it or not. Clifton said she had a death grip on him the entire time they were in the bouncy house.

Of course, everything was fantastic at the end of the party because Finley got to enjoy her first ever birthday cake with some chocolate Blue Bell to go with. Of course she cried after she had eaten her second cup and realized there was no more left.

Block Time Fun

Finley got new blocks from her friend Joe. She just loves them. Her favorite thing to do is to knock them down. She also really loves to throw them around. Of course, like every single one of her toys, she loves to gnaw on them. At least they are soft and squishy.

She is still fitting in her 3 to 6 month dresses, but look how much she has changed:

Frame by Frame

I was able to take several shots of Finley pulling herself up. She loves to pull herself up on the couch and walk up and down in search of the remote. Then when she gets it, she just wants to eat it (when are those two top teeth ever going to make their appearance?!?!)

We also had some playtime fun with Raffers.

Super Standers

Finley can pull herself up and stand now. She is doing it all the time, even in her crib. She then cruises around whatever she is holding on to, it is amazing how quickly she started doing this. She just started crawling a couple weeks ago and she is so mobile now.

We are a little concerned about her trying to climb out of her crib, so we had to take the mobile down. She tries to climb up everything, she nearly made it to the top of the couch.
