Polly Flinders

When I was a baby, I wore lots of Polly Flinders smocked dresses. They have been tough to find nowadays because the company has gone out of business, but I managed to get one at TJ Maxx of all places. It isn't smocked, but it is quite pretty anyhow.

We had some fun this morning playing with our real kitty cat, Wrigley, and with her kitty cat cousin that Finley got the day she was born from her real cousin Faith.

So that's what those are for...

Since Finley was born, I haven't been able to figure out what the 'cuffs' on her pajamas are. While getting her dressed after her bath today, one of the cuffs had flipped over....got it...they are like built in mittens!

On a very sad note, Finley is continuing to lose her hair. She still has her Bob's Big Boy curl, it is actually getting quite long, but the rest of the hair isn't faring as well.

Here are some cute shots from today, she finally fits in her apple dress. Her expressions crack me up!

What is she so scared of?!?!
I am cute, I know it!

I am tired of all this picture taking nonsense.

Playtime fun

Finley has definitely mastered holding up her head. See how small her outift is? I think it needs to be retired. So sad! We weighed her today and she is 14 pounds.

Rolling, rolling, rolling...

Fourteen Weeks Old

Finley is struggling through her 3 month growth spurt, more like her mommy and daddy are! We are ready for our 12 hour sleeper to return, not that we should really complain, she is still sleeping 8 hour stretches. Just when you were spoiled with 12 hours...

As I was typing this, Finley popped her head up and rolled over! Such a big girl. She did it a couple more times, so I grabbed some pics to post later.

Here are her fourteen week pictures:

Go Coogs!

I won four tickets to see UH play Tulane on Valentine's night for being the fourth caller on The Game. I am sure the tickets weren't such a hot commodity, as there were probably less than a 1000 people at the game, but it was still worth it to be able to do a trial run for Finley at a sporting event for free, that way if she had a freak out, we could leave and not have wasted any money. Thank goodness she loved it! We stayed until the end of the game and we even got to get some Frenchy's chicken afterwards. Finley was a real trooper and got to see her Cougars win!

She is already asking when baseball season starts...

Happy Valentine's Day!

Will you be my Valentine?

Of course, Finley's dress is her Valentine...sigh...

Baby laughs!

Finley laughed for me for the first time today. She has laughed for Clifton before, but never me. Luckily, Clifton was here to catch it on video. Finley loves 'jumping', but only if you hold her arms. It is the cutest thing, she is so joyful!

Thanks to Zane for showing me how to rotate the video~

Inside all day...

It has been so beautiful all week, so wouldn't you know that it would rain all day on my day off. Finley and I did get to hit Costco, thank goodness for the parking garage. Too bad I forgot to buy diapers for her. She was in my cart, right there reminding me, and I still forgot!

Some pics from hanging out around the house and yes, she still loves to eat her dress. That won't stop me from putting her in dresses~

Floppy hats are grand!

Clifton put Finley in a cute little dress after she spit up all over her first cute little dress of the day. Little did he know such a cute matching floppy hat was lurking in her drawers. This is her first floppy hat and she loved it. I thought the chin strap would bother her for sure, but she didn't mind one bit. And she looked incredibly adorable in it!

Some cute pics from her 13 week photo shoot

Holding up my head is hard work, I give up
