Such a Cute Bug

Finley is wearing her oh so adorable lady bug dress today, the pockets are lady bugs. We have had a big day so far, lots of playing. We also worked on her top secret Father's Day project. I have some great pictures, but I cannot post them until after the holiday, we wouldn't want to ruin the surprise.

We can still feel her tooth, but we cannot see it unless there is a flashlight involved. She still shows no signs of crawling, but she can spin around on her tummy pretty well. She is so curious, so it is going to be a big change once she gets mobile.

Hats and Bug Bites

Finley's tooth is almost here, you can feel the rough edge in her mouth. She is doing pretty well, considering. She wa up once a couple nights ago, but other than that, she is sleeping great. She shes on her side now that we aren't swaddling her any longer.

Apparently a mosquito or something got to poor Miss Finley, it must be because she is so sweet!

Playgroup Fun and Happy Seven Months!

She is getting so close to her first birthday, how crazy is that?!?!

Here are some cute pics from playgroup. She and Max are quite the darling duo. Finley was pretty fussy during playtime because her bottom left tooth is here! It is just the edge of it so far, but it is definitely here. She has been fussy and upset, poor thing. She seems to be in better spirits today. I wonder when her next tooth will arrive.

Thirty Weeks

Mess!

But a cute mess. I have figured out that if I mix avocado with something else, she will eat them again. Tonight I made a butternut squash and avocado mix. What a disgusting color that is.

We also have been working on using her sippy cup. She can drink from it now, but she much prefers you to hold it for her. She also seems to love to eat the edge of her high chair tray. I guess that is due to teething. I cannot imagine that the old high chair is very tasty.

New Pool Toy Fun

Finley was really nervous of her pool float to start. She is used to being held by Clifton or I in the pool. Being away from us was scary for her at first, but once she got used to it, she really seemed to enjoy it. She is still pretty nervous in the water, I hope exposing her often will ease her fears.

This is my favorite of her swimsuits. It has butterflies on it and it was one of the first things I purchased for her last year.

Picture Time with Noah

Finley and I went to visit Noah and Auntie Neon today to snap some pictures of the handsome boy for his birth announcement. He was sleeping when we arrived, but his eyes were open and bright by the end of our visit. He is getting so big and Finley cannot wait to spend some quality play time with him soon.

Finley started carrots today, next comes blueberries. So far her most favorite food is bananas. She goes nuts for them, she must be part monkey. She also enjoys apples and peaches, but likes both best when they are mixed with bananas. She likes peas, sweet potatoes and squash, too. She is not a big fan of green beans, I think they are too stringy for her tastes. She loved avocado, it was her first food, but now she is not such a fan. We will keep trying it until I am out of my freezer supply of it. I bet if I mix it with bananas she would enjoy it. I still need to get to pears and mangoes, I haven't bought any yet to make.
