Berry-licious

We went to Froberg Farm this week down in Alvin and had the best time.  Finley was really good at putting strawberries in the bucket, but she was even better at running all over the farm.  We picked almost 10 pounds of strawberries.  I froze a great portion of them, but Finley is enjoying snacking on the fresh ones.  I also made a strawberry tart, which Finley absolutely loved.

Some Bunny Loves You

Finley got three new bunnies for Easter.  One from Clifton and I, one from Grammy and Grandad, one from Uncle Larry and Aunt Joan.  She lined them up on the step to sit with them.  She also added the pink elephant that Zane and Karen got her there as well.  I guess elephants and bunnies are friends.

Finley has also really enjoyed going on egg hunts over the past couple of days.  I think we will be keeping the plastic eggs out for awhile after Easter.  Also, she has gotten them stuck in her stacking cups a couple of times, which is real fun to try and get it out.

Opening Day

We were back at the Houston Astros Opening Day again this year, minus a sick daddy and plus a grandma and grandpa. Finley had a great time and made it through all nine innings. I am so proud of the bug! Such a big girl. She most enjoyed eating popcorn the most, I think she nearly finished the entire tub!

The funniest thing is she is wearing a shirt from the same set she wore last year.  Last year it was too big for her, this year it was a little snug.  But I am still shocked that Finley fit into the onesie, especially since it was size 6 to 9 months.  Just like last year, the Astros tried to make a comeback in the ninth, but once again, they fell short.

At the light rail station with Grandad
Waiting to get her bags checked at the game
Getting her very first Astros ticket scanned!

Parachuters!

In our seats, ready to watch the game
Can I get some more popcorn please?

Happy Easter!

For Finley's second Easter we had a very fun day. We hunted for eggs, ate tons of candy and had a big ham for Easter dinner. Finley had a fantastic day and enjoyed herself immensely. Her favorite candy was the chocolate marshmallow bunny, but she was not a fan of Peeps. We dyed Easter Eggs last night to put in the baskets.

We wish all of our family and friends the happiest of Easters!

Clifton has been fighting illness, Finley misses playing with her daddy and she hopes he gets better soon!
